Having joined in February of 2012, Jacob “Maelk” Toft-Anderssen is one of the most prolific DotA players in the world and an invaluable asset to the Evil Geniuses DotA team. Widely regarded as one of the finest strategists in the scene, Maelk offers deep insight and coordination to his team, which allows for a diverse array of strategies to accommodate any opponent.

For a number of years, Maelk was a part of the renowned Danish team of MeetYourMakers, which remained a consistent and dominant force. Following a fourth place finish at the inaugural edition of The International, Maelk and his teammates parted ways and his future in the scene was uncertain. However, he once again found his place with his comrades in EG.DotA, which looks to retain its prominence in the international scene.
