Let’s face it: on a team of lovable, handsome, chinstrap-sporting men, Bryce “Machine” Bates may be the most lovable, handsome and chinstrap-sporting-est man of them all. A member of EG’s original Starcraft: Brood War division, Machine began playing the Starcraft II Beta upon its release alongside his teammates iNcontroL and LzGaMeR. Since 2010, he has consistently proven himself to be one of the strongest North American Zergs, known for his solid mechanics and macro-oriented style of play.

As one of the residents of EG’s Lair in Arizona, Machine is busy training with his teammates IdrA, iNcontroL and DeMusliM to improve his Starcraft skills. Given the current concentration of talent in the EG Lair, it’s only a matter of time before Machine’s hard work translates into success befitting an “Evil Genius.”
